Organized by the National Service of Natural Protected Areas (Sernanp) and actively participated in by the travel agency Inca Peru Travel in Cusco, aimed primarily at ecological restoration and conservation of this significant cultural and natural heritage.
In collaboration with Sernanp, Inca Peru Travel, and other committed travel agencies, activities were carried out to plant native trees along the Inca Trail. This initiative not only sought to rehabilitate degraded and vulnerable areas but also aimed to promote environmental education and raise awareness about the importance of conserving these unique spaces.
Through coordination with local authorities, indigenous communities, and environmental organizations, the campaign achieved a significant impact in biodiversity recovery and improvement of natural habitats in the Cusco region. Furthermore, it strengthened Inca Peru Travel’s and its partners’ commitment to sustainable tourism practices and environmental responsibility, establishing a comprehensive conservation model for future generations.
