Dear collaborators, suppliers, and service providers, at INCA PERU TRAVEL, we are aware of the work you undertake in the execution of our services and recognize the importance of extending quality and the development of sustainable tourism.
This decalogue is born with the vision of generating an attitude that seeks continuous improvement and adapts our economic and social activities to provide better service day by day. Below, we present the commitments that we practice in our company, and now, we call for voluntary application in your company and operations. These aim to provide quality service, protect the environment, and respect human rights.
We plan our services with providers who offer guarantees of quality, safety and health, respect for human rights and workers’ rights, non-discrimination in any form, promotion of equity, and respect for the environment.
We use natural resources such as water, paper, and electricity sparingly. We recognize that they are scarce goods and that we must take action for their control and reduction, ensuring them for our future generations; likewise, we seek to reduce our carbon footprint.
We try to minimize waste generation. When disposing of these, we do so in the cleanest way possible, in coordination with entities specialized in their final disposal.
We comply with Biosafety Protocols to avoid the risk of exposure of our collaborators and clients.
We do not promote and denounce the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs. We take measures to ensure that our workers are not under their influence at work.
We inform our clients that when visiting sensitive ecosystems, they must always do so considering causing the least possible impact and not degrading them.
We encourage our clients to buy gifts and souvenirs that are an expression of local culture. Support the economy of the communities that host you while respecting cultural diversity and fair prices.
We ask our clients not to acquire flora and fauna protected by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), nor products derived from such species. It is a crime and contributes to their extinction.
We promote enjoyment by learning about the culture, customs, gastronomy, and traditions of local populations. Respecting and approaching them with permission. They have a lot to teach us.
We are against exploitation and mistreatment in any form: Sexual exploitation of minors and adolescents, exploitation of communities and individuals involved in all services and operations, animal abuse of domestic and wild species.
