Some travelers may be interested in knowing the availability of condor sightings during different times of the year. While it is possible to see condors all year round, the best time to see them is usually during the dry season, which runs from May to September, when there are fewer clouds and greater flight activity.
It is important to know what observation equipment is recommended to fully enjoy condor sightings. It is suggested to bring binoculars for a better view of these majestic birds. If you don’t have binoculars, you may be able to rent them on site, but it’s best to confirm this with the tour provider in advance.
It is essential to know the weather conditions during the hike to be able to wear the appropriate clothing. In the Chonta area, the weather can vary, but is generally cool and sunny during the day. It is recommended to wear light, comfortable clothing, but it is also important to bring a rain poncho in case of unexpected rain.
