The Humantay lagoon is one of the most fabulous destinations to visit when visiting Cusco. This natural wonder with its turquoise waters is located in the province of Anta, department of Cusco and is an ideal route for people who love nature. In a single day we will find impressive landscapes, exotic fauna and flora, beautiful valleys, giant mountains and finally we will discover the Humantay lagoon (at 4200 meters above sea level) considered one of the most important mountains and sacred lagoons in the Cusco region.

04:00 to 04:30 am we will be passing by our clients’ respective hotels. Then we will begin a trip of approximately 2 hours towards the Northeast, to the town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy our breakfast. After breakfast, we will board our vehicle and continue our trip for another hour on a motorable trail. We will arrive at the Soraypampa annex, where we will have a brief talk before starting the walk. The walk is approximately 2 km, one hour to reach Humantay Lagoon, taking into account that we will begin the walk at 3890 meters above sea level and will reach 4200 meters above sea level, which is the altitude of the lagoon. The walk is mostly uphill so it is recommended to be in good physical condition, although there is also the possibility of renting horses.
After the visit, we will take the return road to Soraypampa and then our transportation to the town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy a comforting lunch. We take our return transportation to Cusco, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm. The tour ends one block from the main square.
