This tour begins in the great city of Arequipa. Visit the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in South America. Let yourself be enchanted by the flight of the Andean Condors, the heaviest bird in the world. It is a two-day trip where you can enjoy beautiful landscapes, delicious food and comfort yourself with a thermomedicinal water bath. On the second day, during the afternoon, the transfer is made to the city of Puno so you can continue with your trip.
7:30 to 8:00 Our transportation will pass by the different hotels to begin the trip to one of the deepest canyons in the world, taking the Yura highway, bordering the snowy Chachani, we head towards the Cañahuas pampa, which belongs to the National Reserve. of Aguada Blanca and Salinas, habitat of the beautiful South American camelids such as vicuñas. In the Toqra wetlands you can see a great variety of migratory birds, among which are flamingos; you will pass through the crater of an extinct volcano, Chucura; Then enjoy a stop at the volcano viewpoint, which is also the highest area of the road (4,910 meters above sea level). From here you will appreciate a large part of the western mountain range.
1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Approximately, arrival in Chivay, here you will enjoy a delicious lunch.
Installation in the hotel
In the afternoon take advantage of the thermal baths in La Calera whose thermo-medicinal waters range between 35º to 38º degrees Celsius in temperature in the pools. At 7:00 p.m. Optional dinner accompanied by a folkloric show. As long as the hotel is located in Chivay.
Early in the morning you will have breakfast at the hotel and then take the excursion to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint, a strategic observation point of the canyon and the spectacular flight of the Andean condor. On the way back there will be a stop in the towns of Maca and Yanque; that have beautiful colonial churches; as well as at the Antahuilque, Huayrapunko and Peña Blanca viewpoints, from where you will appreciate the beautiful Colca landscape with its impressive terraces.
After lunch you will be transferred to Puno, en route the transport will have stops at lagoons so you can see several lagoons and various migratory birds.

The tour includes tourist transportation, bilingual guide (Spanish and English), 1 night’s accommodation with breakfast, entrance ticket to the Colca Canyon, 1 lunch and transfer to Puno.
The first day we visit the Colca Canyon, with stops at points of interest such as the Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve, the volcano viewpoint and the thermal baths in La Calera. On the second day, the flight of the Andean condor is observed from the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint and stops are made in colonial towns and viewpoints before being transferred to Puno.
It is recommended to bring warm clothing, hiking shoes, all your luggage, sunglasses, sunscreen, a cap or hat, extra money in soles, water, a towel, a swimsuit for the thermal baths, snacks and a camera.
