This tour is designed for travelers who do not like hiking much and who want to make the trip to Machu Picchu by train and without much rush. We will have a night’s rest in a hotel before visiting the majestic Inca citadel. After a guided tour of this, we will be able to climb the Huayna Picchu mountain, and view the beautiful Archaeological Center of Machu Picchu in all its magnitude. We will pick you up from the hotel around 10:00 hrs. to go by tourist transport to the Ollantaytambo train station. Travel by train for approximately two hours to “Machu Picchu Pueblo” (or town of “Aguas Calientes”, 2,000 meters above sea level). Arrival at the train station and then we will go to our hotel to settle into your room and take a rest. From this moment we will have the afternoon free to enjoy lunch at a tourist restaurant in the same town. You can take advantage of a restorative bath in the hot springs of “Machu Picchu Pueblo”, for as long as you want. Return to the hotel to spend the night and wait for the long-awaited day to visit Machu Picchu very early.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a bus that will take you on a 30-minute trip, ascending a zigzagging path, to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu; also known as “The Lost City of the Incas”, today “New Wonder of the Modern World”.
The excursion includes a guided tour of the citadel lasting approximately 2 hours. Throughout the walk you will visit the most important sites of Machu Picchu, such as the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the royal quarters, the temple of the Three Windows, the cemeteries and you will be able to take a panoramic photo of the citadel. inca. Afterwards you will have free time to take a walk around the citadel, take photos and film. When finished, return to “Machu Picchu Pueblo” for lunch. In the afternoon, at approximately 6:30 p.m. you will board the train to Ollantaytambo, where a bus will wait for you to return to the City of Cusco, arriving at 10:00 p.m. and transfer to your respective hotel.
