Upon arrival in Lima, our staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel. Double accommodation in the chosen hotel.

  • At the appropriate time, we will have the transfer from the hotel to the airport, flight to Puerto Maldonado.
  • Arrival at Puerto Maldonado airport. Then, we will start our program with a bus tour of the city.
  • Then, we will go to Puerto Capitanía, to embark on a motorized boat, and we will navigate the Bajo Madre de Dios River. During the trip, we will enter a fascinating natural environment, with luck we will observe Ronsocos, Turtles, Herons, Alligators and other species of animals.
  • At our lodge, you will be greeted with delicious Amazonian tropical fruit nectar, and taken to your comfortable room (bungalow). A succulent lunch will await you in our cozy dining room with a rustic design.

COCHA CAIMAM

  • After lunch, you will be led by our specialized guide through a conveniently signposted interpretive trail towards Cocha Caimán, a small lagoon with an abundant presence of specimens of black caiman (Melanosuchus niger) and white caiman (Caiman crocodilus).
  • At the end of the afternoon, back at the lodge and from the river bank you will witness the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, an experience full of colors in welcoming ranges and intensities.
  • In the evening, a delicious dinner will await you, and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board games room and stocked with all the drinks you can imagine.

  • A succulent breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.
  • APU VÍCTOR LAKE: After breakfast, we will begin a walk towards the deep forest, following prepared trails, conveniently preserved and signposted. On the way, we will cross the riverine forest, and then we will descend into flooded forests, to climb again to hill forests. During the journey, we will witness the most varied range of species of flora and fauna in the wild.
  • Along the way, you will identify species of fruit, forest and medicinal trees that support animal and human populations in the Amazon forests. Among these, the aguaje, mahogany, chestnut, catahua, cedar, cetic, copaiba, shihuahuaco stand out.
  • With luck and in silence, you will be able to spot larger mammals, such as the sachavaca and the huangana; rodents such as the giant otter, the majas, the ronsoco and the armadillo; primates such as the howler monkey and the leoncillio puffin, black martin or capuchin; reptiles such as the iguana and the jergón; amphibians such as the toad and birds such as the wild guan, the partridge, the golden parakeet and the blue, yellow and red macaw.
  • In the rainforest you will see insects such as butterflies (Lepidoptera), beetles (Coleoptera), crickets, cicadas, ants, centipedes and millipedes of various species.
  • We arrive at the majestic Lake Apu Víctor surrounded by immense swamps and gigantic trees. Amazon viewpoint (huge observation platform), from which you will enjoy a panoramic view over the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos, Herons and other animals such as Alligators, Turtles, etc.
  • Varieties of fish enter Lake Apu Victor with the floods of the rainy season (increasing). In addition, there are other species of fauna associated with the lake, such as the motelo, the matamata, the aguajal charapita, the friar, the chozna, the red deer, the añuje and the giant otters of the Amazon Rainforest.
  • Back at the lodge, a refreshing lunch will await you.

MONKEY ISLAND

  • In the afternoon, accompanied by our guide, we will visit Monkey Island, located a few minutes from the lodge in the heart of the Madre de Dios River. This island displays a huge variety of exuberant flora and is home to numerous specimens of primates, such as the macaw, the capuchin, and the puffin and lion.
  • In addition to other species of small mammals such as the coati (Nasua), the squirrel and a huge variety of colorful birds.
  • Finally, we completed our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle.
  • Back at the hostel, you can enjoy an exquisite farewell dinner.

  • After a restful night’s rest, our breakfast awaits you in our dining room before heading back to Puerto Maldonado.

  • Arrival in Cusco and transfer to our hotel

  • We will have a free morning for proper acclimatization.
  • 13:30 pm approximately, we will start with the tour of the city, we will visit the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), then we will continue with the visit to 4 archaeological sites near Cusco, these are: Saqsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Tambomachay and Pukapukara.
  • We will have some time to appreciate the weaving process and the products of local textile makers, we will continue with our return trip to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.
  • Double accommodation in chosen hotel.

  • Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, we will continue with a buffet lunch in Urubamba and our last stop will be the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, we will have a visit to the entire tourist attraction.
  • In the afternoon transfer to the train station, train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.
  • Double accommodation in the chosen hotel.

  • We will have an early breakfast and then we will go to the bus station to board our bus that will take us to the archaeological park of Machu Picchu, the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. We will enter with our guide, we will have a visit of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through the most important sites of this wonder.
  • We will board our return bus to Aguas Calientes and have free time for lunch. We will board our return train to Ollantaytambo, here our transfer will be waiting for us for our return transfer to Cusco.

  • Approximately 4:00 – 4:30 the transportation will pass by your hotels located in the central area of ​​Cusco. From here we will travel south for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the restaurant where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we will continue for approximately one more hour to the starting point of the hike. Before this walk, our guide will provide you with walking sticks and give you the necessary information for the long-awaited tour. The walk is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Montaña de Colores. It is advisable to be at least two days before in the city of Cusco, this for proper acclimatization, since the walk is not that complicated, but the altitude makes it a challenge to get there.
  • After the visit we will return along the same route to where our transportation is located, then we will return to the same restaurant to enjoy a pleasant buffet lunch. A moment of relaxation and we will take our return transportation to Cusco. The vehicle will leave you in a place near the parade ground.

Frequent Questions

During the City Tour in Cusco, you will visit the Temple of Koricancha, the ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, PucaPucara and Tambomachay. These sites offer a unique insight into the Inca and colonial history of the region.
