Trek Ausangate 7 Lakes Full Day

South of the Cusco region, in the province of Quispicanchis, under the imposing Ausangate snow-capped peak, we find the so-called “7 Lakes of Ausangate Circuit,” which is fed by the meltwater of this immense glacier, one of the highest in Peru (6,384 meters above sea level). The tour offers a trekking and nature experience where we will visit seven lakes with turquoise and clear waters. During the approximately 4 to 5-hour trek, we will make stops at strategic points to capture the best photographs and absorb the energy of the Peruvian Andes. You will also encounter South American camelids such as llamas and alpacas, as well as birds native to the region. If you are a nature lover and enjoy trekking, this experience is perfect for you.

From here, we start a hike through the high mountain landscapes, lasting approximately 4 to 5 hours, heading towards the 7 Ausangate lagoons, known as: Azulcocha, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Otorongo, Qomercocha, Patacocha, and Huchuy Phinaya.
