



An itinerary out of the traditional and not yet very well known. You will see the last Inca bridge that is still used and renovated every year. There are nearby communities in charge of making this change and this festivity takes place in the month of June. This is a great tour to the south of Cusco, where we can visit more than one tourist attraction that is not yet so popular for visitors. Enjoy the culture, the natural, the flora and fauna of this magnificent circuit prepared for you, who want a little peace and tranquility knowing places without much tourist influx. The tour includes The circuit of 4 lagoons, Qeswachaka bridge (Inca bridge), K’anamarca, 3 canyons, and Mauk’allaqta. Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – Q’ESWACHACA – SUYKUTAMBO CANYON
07:00 AM pick up from your hotel to start this magnificent adventure towards the south of Cusco. We will drive for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes to make our first stop at the Pomacanchi lagoon located at 3670 masl where we can observe a variety of birds such as ducks, herons, seagulls, etc. We board our transport and continue our journey passing through the Acopia lagoon, Asnacocha, and Pampamarca. We continue to Pabellones the mini volcano, for a brief stop, and continue to Q’eswachaca, the last Inca bridge that is renewed year after year by the surrounding communities. Our guide will give us an explanation of the bridgework process and then we will enjoy a delicious picnic lunch near the bridge.
After lunch, we will continue our trip to the pre-Inca archaeological site called Kanamarca, a brief visit, and continue our journey to the town of Suykutambo, where we will enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night.
DAY 2: SUYKUTAMBO 3 CANYONS – MAUK’ALLAQTA – CUSCO
After a comforting breakfast, we start our tour today. We will visit the 3 canyons of Suykutambo making a short walk of approximately 1 hour, we will be able to climb one of the mountain peaks to have a wonderful view of the gigantic geological formations that seem to be petrified living beings. After a brief visit, photographs, and we continue the journey to the Mauk’allaqta archaeological site, here our guide will give us a brief explanation and while they prepare a delicious traditional lunch we can swim in the waters of the Apurimac River.
We will enjoy a delicious lunch on the river beach and with a view of the Mauk’allaqta archaeological site.
After lunch we will board our transport back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 17:00 pm.
