Later, we will go to the Pueblo Libre neighborhood and visit the Larco Museum.

Huaca Huallamarca

This museum exhibits the best and most complete collection of pre-Hispanic Peruvian gold and silver in the world. Located in a beautiful 18th century viceregal mansion, it is considered one of the 25 best museums in the world. Finally, we will observe a pre-Columbian archaeological complex “Huaca Huallamarca” in the middle of the urban area.

In the afternoon, we will have a city tour, we begin the visit with the temple of the Sun “Qorikancha”, then 4 archaeological sites near Cusco, such as: Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puca Pucara.

Cusco city tour

Double accommodation at the hotel.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas is an unmissable destination for anyone who visits the city of Cusco, due to the magic and importance that this emblematic place houses. We will visit:

Pisac: At the entrance to the Urubamba Valley is Pisac, a magnificent mestizo town where you can distinguish the old quarter (archaeological site) from the modern part with its colonial characteristics. The main attraction of Pisac is the traditional indigenous market, where we will find a great variety of typical objects of the region, made of cloth or ceramics.

Pisaq Urubamba

We will also admire the typical costumes of the region, quite colorful and worn by the local inhabitants. Additionally, we will be able to visit the old colonial church of Pisac, where masses are still celebrated in Quechua on Sundays, attended by the local inhabitants and the “varayocs” (local authorities from different cities). We will end our visit to Pisac with a look at the interesting irrigation system of the cultivated fields and the fabulous astronomical observatory from Inca times.

Urubamba: To go to Urubamba we will pass through the towns of Coya, Lamay, Calca and Yucay, observing beautiful flora and fauna during a 45-minute tour. At the end of the trip we will arrive at the city of Urubamba, located in the heart of the Sacred Valley, in the middle of a fairly comfortable and fertile area that constitutes an important pre-Hispanic agricultural center. We will take advantage of this pleasant atmosphere to have lunch in a cozy typical restaurant.

Ollantaytambo: In the afternoon we will go to the Ollantaytambo region, also known as “Valle del Tambo”. This is the only “living” Inca city, that is, the only one inhabited, and it extends along the Vilcanota River, reaching Machu Picchu. We will visit the famous fortress of Ollantaytambo, which stands out in the valley, where we will see some of the most imposing constructions of the Inca empire.

Chinchero: On our return to the city of Cusco we will stop to visit Chinchero and its small chapel. This town, like Pisac, is known for its traditional market; however, the Chinchero market, although smaller, is richer in tradition and offers a greater variety of textile pieces. Finally, we will return to Cusco, where we will leave you in your accommodation.

We will have a night briefing for the Inca Trail, 4 Days

We will pick you up from the hotel from 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. We will go by bus directly to Piscacucho (2700 masl) a small community located at km 82, we begin our hike and we will unite with the entire team of professionals who will make our trip an unforgettable experience. The Inca Trail begins by crossing the traditional bridge at Km 82 walking along the left bank of the Urubamba River that flows northeast of the Sacred Valley. After going through some flat terraces, we will arrive at Miskay (2800 m.s.n.m.) to then ascend and finally see the Inca City of Patallacta or Llactapata (2750 m.s.n.m.) then we will continue our hike along the valley created by the Kusichaca river, until we reach our first camp at Wayllabamba (3000 m.s.n.m.) where we will have a refreshing dinner and spend the night.

Excellent - keep it going The more that is said about this team is definitely less. Jhon and I had been in touch for the last six months to draw this trip and since then to now when it is in conceptualisation it has been top notch professional with a touch of personal with them checking on my well-being etc. Abel came in once I arrived at Lima and since then has been my support. Guys this is a tour operator must to be considered. Infact I have met so many in Cusco who asked me of my trip details and I have no hesitations in recommending them. Bravo

Merveilleux, foncez ! (Francais 22 & 26 ans)
