



We did a combination of the great Jungle and Andes in Perú. In this package you will get to know part of the Amazon, you will be able to see a variety of flora and wild fauna in the Tambopata National Reserve. Then, you can learn more about the culture and history of Peru, especially about the Inca culture, you can also get to know one of the wonders of the modern world, Machu Picchu. A great combination of Ecological and Cultural Tourism.
Itinerary
DAY 1: LIMA
Upon arrival in Lima, our staff will be waiting for you in order to take you to your hotel.

DAY 2: LIMA – PUERTO MALDONADO – TAMBOPATA
At the appropriate time, we will have the transfer from the hotel to the airport
Flight to Puerto Maldonado.
Arrival at Puerto Maldonado airport. Then, we will start our program with a bus tour of the city.
Then, we will go to Puerto Capitanía, to embark on a motorized boat, and we will navigate the Bajo Madre de Dios River. During the trip, we will enter a fascinating natural environment, with luck we will observe Ronsocos, Turtles, Herons, Alligators and other species of animals.
At our lodge, you will be greeted with delicious Amazonian tropical fruit nectar, and taken to your comfortable room (bungalow). A succulent lunch awaits you in our cozy dining room with a rustic design.
CAIMAN COCHA
After lunch, you will be driven by our specialized guide through a conveniently signposted interpretive trail to Cocha Caimán, a small lagoon with an abundant presence of specimens of black caiman (Melanosuchus niger) and white caiman (Caiman crocodilus).
At the end of the afternoon, back at the lodge and from the river bank, you will witness the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, an experience full of colors in welcoming ranges and intensities.
In the evening, a delicious dinner will await you, and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent table games room and stocked with all the drinks you can imagine.
DAY 3: TAMBOPATA – MONKEY ISLANDS
A succulent breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.
APU VÍCTOR LAKE
After breakfast, we will start a walk towards the deep forest, following prepared trails, conveniently preserved and signposted. On the way, we will cross the riparian forest, and then we will descend to floodplain forests, to climb again to hill forests. During the journey, we will witness the most varied range of species of flora and fauna in the wild.
Along the way, you will identify species of fruit, forest, and medicinal trees that sustain animal and human populations in the Amazon forests. Among these stand out the aguaje, the mahogany, the chestnut, the catahua, the cedar, the cetico, the copaiba, the shihuahuaco.
With luck and in silence, you will be able to spot larger mammals, such as the sachavaca and the white-lipped peccary; rodents such as the giant otter, the majas, the capybara and the armadillo; primates such as the howler monkey and the lion puffin, black martin or capuchin; reptiles such as the iguana and the jergón; amphibians such as the toad and birds such as the mountain turkey, the partridge, the golden parakeet and the blue, yellow and red macaw.
In the rain forest you will appreciate insects such as butterflies (Lepidoptera), beetles (Coleoptera), crickets, cicadas, ants, centipedes and millipedes of various species.
We arrive at the majestic Lake Apu Víctor surrounded by immense swamps and gigantic trees. Amazon viewpoint (huge observation platform), from which you will enjoy a panoramic view over the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos, Herons and other animals such as Caimans, Turtles, etc.
Varieties of fish enter Lake Apu Víctor with the floods of the rainy season (increasing). In addition, there are other species of fauna associated with the lake, such as the motelo, the matamata, the charapita de aguajal, the friar, the chozna, the red deer, the añuje and the giant otters of the Amazon Rainforest.
Back at the lodge, a refreshing lunch will await you.
MONKEY ISLAND
In the afternoon, accompanied by our guide, we will visit the Isla de los Monos, located a few minutes from the lodge in the heart of the Madre de Dios River. This island shows an enormous variety of exuberant flora and is home to numerous specimens of primates, such as the maquisapa, the capuchin and the puffin and lion. In addition to other species of small mammals such as the coati (Nasua), the squirrel and a huge variety of colorful birds.
Finally we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle.
Back at the lodge, you can enjoy an exquisite farewell dinner.
DAY 4: TAMBOPATA – CUSCO
After a good night, our breakfast awaits you in our dining room before heading back to Puerto Maldonado.
We will take the flight to Cusco

DAY 5: CUSCO
We will have a free morning for proper acclimatization
Approximately 13:30 pm, we will be starting with the city tour, we will visit the Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), then we will continue with the visit to 4 archaeological sites near Cusco, these are: Saqsayhuaman, Q’enqo, Tambomachay and Pukapukara.
We will have some time to appreciate the weaving process and the products of local textile makers, we will continue with our return trip to Cusco, arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.

DAY 6: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – AGUAS CALIENTES
Tour to the Sacred Valley. We will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, we will continue with a buffet lunch in Urubamba and our last stop will be the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo
In the afternoon transfer to the train station, train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.

DAY 7: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
We wil have breakfast early, and then we will go to the bus station to board our bus that will take us to Machu Picchu, the trip will be approximately 30 minutes. We will go inside with our guide, we will have a visit of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through the most important sites of this wonder.
We will board our return bus to Aguas Calientes, and we will have free time for lunch. We will board our return train to Ollantaytambo, here our transfer will be waiting for us for our return transfer to Cusco.

DAY 8: CUSCO – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – CUSCO
4:00 – 4:30 a.m. Our transport will pass through your hotels located in the downtown area of Cusco. From here you start a trip to the South for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the restaurant where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we will continue for approximately one more hour to the starting point of the hike. Before the hiking, our guide will provide you with walking sticks and give you the necessary information for such a long-awaited tour. The hike is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Rainbow Mountain. It is advisable to be at least two days before in the city of Cusco, this for a correct acclimatization since the trek is not that complicated, but the height makes it a challenge to get there.
After the visit we will return by the same route to where our transport is located, then we will return to the same restaurant to enjoy a pleasant buffet lunch. A moment of relaxation and we will take our transportation back to Cusco. The vehicle will leave you in a place close to the parade ground.

DAY 9: CUSCO – LIMA
This day we will be finalizing our travel package, hoping that everything has been to your complete satisfaction, we will make our last transfer to the Cusco airport.
