Magical Cusco 7 Days

Arrival in Cusco and transfer to hotel, free time.

In the afternoon, we will have our city tour. We will visit the temple of the sun (Qorikancha) and then to 4 archaeological sites located around Cusco, these are: Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo, Tambomachay and Puka Pukara.

This day we will visit a part of the Sacred Valley. Our points to visit will be the Pisaq archaeological site, we will enjoy lunch in Urubamba and finally we will visit Ollantaytambo.
Free time and we can continue to the train station
We will board the Expedition tourist train or similar to the aguas calientes town. It is a trip of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, once in Aguas Calientes, the hotel staff will be waiting for us to take us to the hotel.

After breakfast, we will take one of the first buses to Machu Picchu, the bus trip is approximately 30 minutes. Once in Machu Picchu, our guide will ask us for our tickets. It is important to bring the original document to be able to go inside, the guided tour is approximately 2.5 hours, and you will have free time to take pictures. Keep in mind that inside Machu Picchu there are no toilets, so you have to use the bathrooms before go inside Machu Picchu.

We will take the return bus to the Aguas Calientes town, free time for lunch, and then we will take the return train to Ollantaytambo. In Ollantaytambo, our transfer will be waiting for us to take us back to our hotel in Cusco.

Approximately 4:00 – 4:30 AM, will be the pickup time, we will go to your hotels located in the downtown area of ​​Cusco. From here we will head south for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the restaurant where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we will continue for approximately one more hour to the starting point of the hike. Before the hike, our guide will provide you with walking sticks and will give you the necessary information for the long-awaited tour. The hiking is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to Rainbow Mountain, if you want, you can add a visit to the Red Valley (ask the seller). It is recommended to be at least two days before in the city of Cusco, for correct acclimatization since the walk is not that complicated, but the height makes it super difficult to get there.

After the visit we will return by the same route to where our transport is located, then we will return to the same restaurant where we had breakfast to enjoy a pleasant buffet lunch. A moment of relaxation and we will take our transport back to Cusco. The vehicle will leave us in a place near the Plaza de Armas.

We will pass by your hotel to start this magnificent adventure, we will drive approximately 50 minutes to the town of Cruz Pata. Once at our base, our guide will give you the corresponding explanation about the use of the ATVs, in addition to the safety information. Once ready, we will start the adventure towards the archaeological site of Moray, a brief visit and we will continue towards the salt mine of Maras, keep in mind that we do not exactly reach the salt mines in ATVs since it is a bit risky due to the ruggedness of the road. zone. After making the visit, we take our transport back to Cusco, the tour ends one block from the Plaza de Armas.

From 04:00 to 04:30 am we will be passing through the respective hotels of our clients. Then we will start a trip of approximately 2 hours to the Northeast, to the town of Mollepata, where we will enjoy our breakfast. After breakfast, we will board our vehicle and continue our trip for another hour on a dirt road. We will arrive at the annex of Soraypampa, where we will have a briefing before starting the hike. The hike is approximately 2 km, one hour to reach the Humantay Lagoon, keep in mind that we will start the hike at 3890 meters above sea level and will reach 4200 meters above sea level, which is the altitude of the lagoon. The hike is mostly uphill, so it is recommended to be in good physical condition, although there is also the possibility of renting horses.

After the visit, we will take the return road to Soraypampa and then our transport to Mollepata town, where we will enjoy a comforting lunch. We take our transport back to Cusco, arriving at approximately 17:30 pm. The tour ends one block from the Plaza de Armas.
