Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – UPIS – ANANTA
04:00 am we will start the pickup from your hotel in order to start our trip. We will drive to the town of Tinke where we will take a road to the Upis town, here we will find our team of muleteers and horses, and we will also take a short rest.
We will begin our hike until Arapa Pass (4800 masl). Then we will border the snow-capped Ausangate to head towards Yanacocha, where we will have lunch. We will continue with the wonderful view of the snow-capped Ausangate, and we will ascend to the Puca Cocha pass, from here we will be able to observe all the snow-capped mountains of the Vilcanota mountain range, then we will descend towards the place of Ananta, here will be our camp.

DAY 2: ANANTA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – CUSCO
We will enjoy our delicious hot breakfast, and then we will start our hike to the Warmisaya pass (4985 masl), then we will descend to the Surinecocha lagoon and then again ascend to the Surina mountain pass that will ease the hike a bit, since from here it is an easier and flatter walk and it will give us the satisfaction of enjoying the snowy peak and the rainbow mountain where we will arrive very early. We will try to arrive before the tourists who do the normal 1-day tour arrive, so we can enjoy the mountain without many people.
